LTE Acquires Sunrise Telecom’s Protocol Products Group (PPG)

LTE is proud to announce the strategic acquisition of the Protocol Products Group from Silicon Valley-based Sunrise Telecom.

Sunrise Telecom’s PPG division is well known for its 3GMaster and NeTracker protocol analyzer solutions, though most recently, both its Traffic Analysis and Monitoring System (TAMS) and Mobile X-Ray™ Mobile Data Services analysis platform have gained worldwide recongnition as dominant monitoring and troubleshooting platforms for advanced telecom environments.

LTE's seasoned team of world-class OSS consulting professionals will add another dimension to the overall PPG portfolio that will allow it to compete from an even stronger base in the market. LTE will help customers make better use of their PPG products, will help them improve their overall network operations processes, and will significantly improve the customers' ability to optimize networks for next-gen telecom services.

As a result of the acquisition, a new entity will be formed that will focus on the growing market for Customer Service Assurance (CSA) solutions, which allow wireless and wireline operators to manage next-gen voice and data services over converged network infrastructures. The company will also invest heavily in the standalone protocol analysis and network monitoring arenas that PPG is so well known for.
